Green Park Studios & Home Decor Coaching
Hi! I’m Lisa DiAntonio, and I’m a HOME DECOR COACH. I have always dreamed of having my own creative business related to home decor and space styling, and after working in corporate America for twelve years, I started Green Park Studios to do just that.
I work hard to help you bring your thoughts and ideas to life through a coaching process that allows you to discover what you want to do to your space, and I help you put an action plan together to execute what you have discovered. I also run a Rejuvenate Your Space Workshop where I work with a group of women that love to DIY their homes, but just need a little help doing it.
I am passionate about helping others feel good about their spaces. I also want you to feel good about the process of making your space yours. I help my clients get away from the feeling of ‘Home Shame’ because they are looking at too many perfect spaces on Pinterest. None of those spaces are uniquely you and show off your personality and the way that you want to love your life in your home.
MY BEGINNING: My story begins with a photo of the Boston Marathon finish line, taken in 2009, on a much needed mini getaway with my husband. This photo sat around on my computer, just waiting to become more, and in 2013 it was pulled from the archives. I wanted to print it on fabric and make a pillow, but instead of having someone else print my fabric, started my own fabric printing business. In 2014, Green Park Studios was born. After a four of years of printing on fabric and shipping it by the yard to hundreds of crafty customers, I decided to change my direction. I did enjoy printing fabric for other, but my real joy came from the design and creation process, and working with other creative people to make spaces perfect for them. In the beginning of 2018, I decided to exit the printing business, outsourcing my own printing needs, and began running space styling workshops. These workshops focus on helping a DIY decorator put a plan together for their space. My clients create inspiration through Pinterest boards, create floor plans for their rooms, bounce ideas off of each other, and then create an action plan that they commit to getting done.
MY FAMILY: For me, my two loves are my family, and creating a home that my family loves to be in. I am constantly changing the walls, the furniture layout, the area rugs on the floor, and how my shelves are arranged. It’s simply what I love to do. Even my daughter is starting to do that in her own bedroom, making it her own.
For me, I want my husband to come home from a business trip to a place that is full of things he loves such as a gallery wall of places we’ve traveled and a comfy chair to sit on when he gets home. I want my kids to be in a bright and cheery space full of visual comfort and inspiration, and I want my friends to come into a space that makes them think, ‘your home is so YOU’. I have a wonderful and supportive husband, a 16 year old son who is great at pole vaulting, a 10 year old daughter who loves to sing and play soccer, 7 year old son that simply loves to play catch and be outside with his friends, and a dog named Buddy who loves to protect us.
As my client, I would help you create the same kind of home for you and your family. You are in the driver’s seat and I’m here to coach you along so that you can reach your end goal.
MY HOME: The home I live in now is my second home I’ve owned with my husband. Our first home was a 1,200 square foot cottage style home that was built in 1912. It has a lot of great character and a large attached barn. We renovated that home from top to bottom, but after our third child was born, we felt a little squished. Our second home is not super large by most standards in our area, but we love our neighborhood, and we do have the space to expand, and that is in our future plans. When we purchased our second home, it was a 2,100 square foot colonial with absolutely no character. It was built in 1974 and was so bland and full of dark stained wood and tiny floral wallpaper with lots of browns and whites. Since 2010, we completely renovated the first floor, and we added a wrap-around farmers porch on the front. I now like to describe our home as a modern farmhouse with a mid-century flair.
I look forward to working with you. If you want to work with someone that is very approachable, easy to work with , and values your opinions, drop me a note at lisa@greenparkstudios.com.
