Here’s an update of the second floor here at The Lady on Morton. We are well into painting and tile work begins in the next week. We are moving along even though so much time and effort goes into the finish work.

The painting here at The Lady on Morton continues.

The painting here at The Lady on Morton continues. Here is one of the boys bedrooms. Originally this bedroom had green painted trim and wallpaper. I wanted to keep with the colored trim in the space but wanted a more updated color so here it is. The walls in the room are painted Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee and the trim is Sherwin Wiliams Grays Harbor. This is just the first coat on both the walls and the trim. The walls are in a matte sheen and the trim final coat will be in a satin sheen. SWIPE for the before.

This is one space that will be so fun to design. Creamy trim. A painted diamond pattern floor in a cream and deep blue. I’m going make Roman shades in a patterned fabric and I’m on the hunt for a vintage narrow table for folding. Doing laundry in a pretty space is a must!

The movers are here moving out all of our stuff. We will be a bit like nomads over the next couple months. A new venture in life is exciting, but I’m also thinking about all the times here in this house. We lived here for the past 12 years and loved every minute of making this house a home. I hope the new owners love it as much as we do.
