If you need help planning out a gallery wall, you’re in the right place. With my wall art planning service, I plan the layout of your art, and then provide you with a hanging plan so you know exactly where to hang your items. See below for all the details on how this works.
WAll planning steps
You take a photo of the wall that you want to put your gallery on. You will take this photo with nothing hanging on the wall.
You measure the width and height of the wall, as well as the location of any switches, thermostats, windows, etc.
Take photos of wall art that you already own. You will gather up any art that you’re thinking of putting on the wall and take photos of it.
After taking photos of your art pieces, you will then measure the overall width and height of each piece.
If you need to fill in the gaps, or you simply don’t have any art that you want to hang, I will direct you to some web sites where you can look for artwork that you may like. You would then provide me links to those pieces for me to use in the plan.
After you provide me with all of the details, I will create various gallery wall layouts for you to see. You will pick the layout that you like the most before moving on to step seven.
After we land on the wall layout that you like, I create a detailed plan on where to hang each of your pieces. You simply measure and mark the hanging marks on your wall, then hang your picture hooks based on those measurements.
When working with me on your gallery wall, I provide you with these detailed instructions that guide you through gathering all of the photos and measurements that I will need to put your plan together. If you have any questions during the process, I’m here to help.
